Swear like a King

First: As stated in FAQ #554: Is my deviation Mature Content? under 'Strong language': "This particular mature content tag is always considered to be optional as strong language is not otherwise regulated anywhere else within the deviantART community."
Maybe I should explain all the rude words for everyone who hasn't seen the movie yet... |D

Berty- sorry, Albert- is the later King George VI and has problems with speaking in front of people, because he stammers. He sees the speech therapist Lionel Logue, who remarks that Berty doesn't stammer when he swears/curses. So he asks Berty to swear.
Berty's first response: "Bloody... bugger.. to you... beastly bastard...!"
Lionel:"Oh, a public school prim could do better than that!"
Berty, after a pause: "Shit! (x10)" (...)
Lionel: "You know the f-word?!"
Berty: "F... F-Fornication?"
Lionel: "Oh, Berty!"
Berty--> Stamp.
Lionel's son from outside: "Dad? Everything alright?!"

The scene is not only very funny, because totally unexpected, but also great, because it shows a really human side of a King(-to-be). Could you imagine Queen Elizabeth II (George's daughter) swearing like that? Or Philipp? One would assume the Royals even to swear polite, but after all they are "only" humans like us and why should a King not swear?!
3rd: It is gorgeous, because Colin Firth shows again that he is a great actor.


<sub>I freaking love this movie! Avatar, Harry Potter, Matrix etc. got nothing on it! I wish there would be more movies like TKS on screen! <3 For making the stamp I had to watch the scene over and over on my laptop with my family sitting in the next room- I don't want to know, what they thought I am doing |D I had to watch the scene so often to count how many times Berty said the s- and f-word |D Srsly, I had never so much fun making a stamp!
